Results

Patient had prior Clitoral Excision for malignancy, effectively creating Type 1b FGM. CRS allowed visualization of entire Clitoral body ( middle photo), release of the suspensory ligaments, and fixation of the clitoris below.
This is a Type I FGM in which the labia minor and clitoral hood were excised. By opening the hood further, removing the overlying scar tissue and reattaching the labia minora, a nearly intact vulva results from restoration efforts.
