Offered by Dr. Gunther, breast augmentation uses implants and fat transfers to create a natural looking breast.
Breast augmentations are very individual and can be tailored to each and every patient to fit their needs and goals. We know this surgery is extremely important. It takes incredible trust to allow a surgeon to perform this operation. We want you to know we are humbled by that trust and take it very seriously.
About 1 week before your scheduled surgery you will have an in-person consultation with Dr. Gunther to discuss your goals. This allows Dr. Gunther to assess your anatomy and determine what techniques and implants he can use to best fit your needs.
Procedure
Dr. Gunther will create a pocket behind or in front of (depending on your anatomy) the muscle of the chest wall. Then, the breast implant is placed in that pocket.
Post Procedure
Right after your surgery your breasts will be covered with surgical tape and a surgical bra. Bruising can last about 2 weeks. Sensations of numbness in the breast and nipple may last up to 2-3 months. Your breasts will soften and take shape within 3 months of your surgery.
